The color pink has made a new name for itself on the color-wheel after the Mark Williams Design Associates got a hold of the Sky Lounge at Atlanta?s MidCity Lofts.
The design team strips pink of its stereotypical ?girly? reputation and revamps the energetic tone into a sophisticated and stylish shade that fits the mode of splendor.
The Mark Williams? design team transformed the building?s Sky Lounge?before, just an ordinary clubroom at the very top of the building, void of color and overflowing with underutilized space and potential?into one of the building?s, inarguably, most impressive assets. The team utilizes pink to accentuate the room?s abundance of free flowing natural light by day, and multi-twinkles of the lively Midtown by night.
The project was so successful that the team won a ?Design Excellence Award this year from the Georgia Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers?. Winning an astounding four awards for their design work on several other projects, Niki Papadopoulos, an interior design at Mark Williams and Associates, says, ?The MidCity project was our favorite for sure.?
